Jill is shining example of turning a negative into a positive. For over ten years Jill has been at the helm of the Acromegaly Community, finding herself thrust into a world of medics, big pharma and advocacy. We chat about her complex diagnosis, the role of being an advocate and the changes she’s seen over the years.

Can so empathise with the recurring late diagnoses for so many pituitary patients. Took 50 years to get an MRI which detected my prolactinoma. Very grateful to the Dr who took blood tests which found raised prolactin levels which had made me so ill. He sent me back to the hospital which had sent me to him as a physchiatric patient but whom he saw as atypical and not mentally but physically very unwell. I owe him so much.
